NORTH CENTRAL EMS
North Central EMS Dispatch is located at our main office in Milan, Ohio. Certified emergency dispatchers complete the public's requests for all 911 emergency calls, non-emergency ambulance transports, specialized care transports and wheelchair van trips through this communications center. All stages of a transport request are monitored and documented in our computer system utilizing Zoll Data Systems software.
This communications center also dispatches the Berlin Heights Police Department, Berlin Township Fire Department, Milan Police Department, Milan Fire Department and Firelands Ambulance Service.
North Central EMS provides Erie County's Primary PSAP (Public Service Answering Point) for Milan and Berlin Heights, and secondary PSAP for Huron County. Additional duties include: monitoring alarm boards for two senior living complexes and overseeing various industrial fire alarm systems.
