Twenty Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulances, six Paramedic Response Units, two Specialized Care Units and two Mobile Intensive Care Units are available for 911 emergency medical assistance, non-emergency medical transports, specialized care and critical care transports. Each vehicle is staffed with a certified emergency medical technician, an advanced emergency medical technician and/or paramedic. Ambulance transport services are available to both local and long distance medical facilities.
Paramedic Response Units, 4-wheel drive SUVs equipped with ALS capabilities, support this system by reducing response times, and providing immediate medical attention. These vehicles can reach victims in remote off-road areas, and are used to transfer victims to the transporting ambulance. Each unit is fully equipped with communication gear necessary to serve as a full command post during a natural disaster.

North Central EMS also offers wheelchair van services for patients that are non-ambulatory and need transportation to physicians' offices, medical facilities, or requested destinations. The North Central EMS Paramedic Bike Team provides emergency medical services at large crowd events, such as fairs, festivals and parades. Bikes are outfitted with advanced life support equipment and each team is staffed with at least one paramedic.

Specialized Care Unit
Specialized Care Units provide engineered safe transportation for obese patients, while maintaining their comfort level and preserving their dignity. These units are customized with a bariatric ambulance cot and loading system, which includes a power winch and ramp system for loading and unloading of patients.

Mobile Medical Unit
This unit is a 26 foot self-contained trailer that offers a private, clean, climate controlled environment for individuals who need personal medical attention at large events. The treatment section of this unit is stocked with medical supplies and a cot to accommodate medical emergencies or first-aid needs. The other half of the unit offers a lounge area for the comfort of crew members during prolonged events.
